Terms of Service

You must be at least 16 years old (or 18 to submit content for publication) to use the Site. You are responsible for the accuracy of your registration details, for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms, is used for spam or abuse, or is dormant and unverifiable.

The Site is an educational reference about herbs, spices and traditional practice. It is not medical advice and creates no professional relationship. Your use is subject to our medical disclaimer, which is incorporated into these Terms.

You keep ownership of the blog posts, stories, images and comments you submit (“User Content”). By submitting, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable and transferable licence to host, store, reproduce, translate, adapt for formatting, publish, distribute and display that User Content on the Site and in related promotion, for as long as it remains published plus a reasonable archival period.

You warrant that you own or have the rights to everything you submit, that it does not infringe anyone's rights, and that any people or photographs featured have consented.

All submissions enter a moderation queue and are published only after review. We may edit for clarity, refuse, unpublish or delete any submission at our discretion — particularly content that makes disease-treatment or cure claims, promotes unsafe dosing, targets minors, or is promotional, defamatory or unlawful. Moderation is a safety filter, not verification of accuracy.

You agree not to:

• post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, defamatory or obscene;
• present herbal preparations as a treatment or cure for cancer, diabetes, mental illness or any other disease;
• impersonate a clinician or any other person, or misstate your affiliations;
• advertise products, sell services or inject affiliate links through user submissions;
• scrape, mirror, bulk-download or use the Site's content to train machine-learning models without our written permission;
• interfere with the Site, bypass rate limits or security controls, or attempt to access data that is not yours.

Site design, code, curated herb data, recipes, illustrations, photography and the YourDailyVeda name and logo are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright and trade-mark law. You may read, print and share links for personal, non-commercial use. Any other reproduction or republication requires our prior written consent.

If you believe material on the Site infringes your copyright, send a notice with the work identified, the URL complained of, your contact details and a statement of good faith to contact@yourdailyveda.com. We remove infringing material promptly and terminate repeat infringers.

The Site is supported by third-party advertising and affiliate commissions. We are not a party to any transaction between you and an advertiser or merchant, and we make no representation about their products. Details are in our disclosures.

The Site and all content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, YourDailyVeda and its owners and contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill or health outcomes, arising from your use of the Site. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to USD 100. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud; consumers keep their mandatory statutory rights.

You agree to indemnify us against claims, damages and reasonable legal costs arising from your User Content, your breach of these Terms, or your misuse of the Site.

We may modify the Site or these Terms; material changes take effect when posted with a new “last updated” date, and continued use means acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of India have jurisdiction — except that consumers resident in the EEA or UK may bring proceedings in, and rely on the mandatory consumer law of, their country of residence.
